Brash, abrasive, and confident, Chono is fearless to the point of recklessness. They love nothing more than dancing along the knife’s edge, pushing the limits in every aspect of their life but particularly in battle. They're fiercely loyal to those they care about and incredibly protective - probably overly so - and their hot head and penchant for violence often nets them as many enemies as their fun-loving nature wins them friends.Chono is a free spirit, they're very exuberant and vivacious, even flamboyant, and surprisingly easy going. They take most things in their stride, letting little get them down, and revel in doing and saying absolutely wild shit just to see people’s reactions. They love to fuck around and they're always excited to find out.

Chono is the last of their line, a family within their tribe dedicated to shepherding the wayward spirits of the dead to their final rest among the stars. They are a guide and guardian, and to this end have undergone trials of which they will not speak. Trials which have left them different, and strange. The barrier between life and death is a thin one for Chono, and their eyes see more than the mundane world around them

The Khirtelt are not a widely known tribe, less so since their number was decimated during a raid by another, larger tribe. Chono is one of a small number remaining to the shattered tribe, and they seek to restore their people and to safeguard their culture against all odds

The Wolf of the Khirtelt
Members of the Khirtelt cover their faces - and in particular their eyes - at all times, and each individual's mask is significant to them in their own way. Ever since naming themself for the wolf in old Auri, Chono never removes their pelt; it is their face, more so than the flesh beneath. There is more to this title than simple aesthetics, however. Those sensitive to such things may sense a presence within Chono, something as ancient and primal as the land itself
